On Friday, July 23rd, Los Angeles Clean Tech Incubator (LACI) held a press event at Rancho San Pedro to announce its electric vehicle (EV) car-sharing program. Thanks to funding secured by Senator María Elena Durazo and Assembly member Miguel Santiago, LACI, HACLA, and partners (LACI Envoy and Nissan) have brought a clean air solution to the housing community, which is polluted from trucks on the nearby freeways and roads, by providing an affordable EV car share solution. Rancho San Pedro's Community Coaches served as ambassadors for the program and have helped sign up several residents.
