The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) joined LA Family Housing, elected officials and its public and private partners to break ground at the North Campus in North Hollywood.

As the lead supportive service provider, LA Family Housing North Campus will serve the chronically homeless and disabled homeless individuals by providing fifty units with twenty eight units designated for those who are chronically homeless. Additionally, the North Campus will house a state of the art primary healthcare clinic and a comprehensive service hub.

HACLA has committed to providing thirty seven project-based (PBV) vouchers for eligible individuals, further strengthening its partnership with LA Family Housing. HACLA has three PBV projects at LA Housing Campus, Palo Verde Apartments and Louis Apartments, totaling 111 PBV units and a commitment of $19.4 million.

Congressman Tony Cardenas, County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, LA City Councilmember Nury Martinez and Mayor Eric Garcetti as well as former County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky were present at the ceremony.
